CDBS & funding

Most children are seen completely free.

The Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) is a Medicare program covering eligible children aged 0–17. We check eligibility and bulk-bill direct, so there's no out-of-pocket cost for most families.

over two consecutive calendar years, for eligible children under the CDBS.

Am I eligible?

Three things determine CDBS eligibility.

1

Age 0–17

Your child is between 0 and 17 years old for at least one day of the calendar year.

2

Eligible payment

Your family receives an eligible payment such as Family Tax Benefit Part A for part of the year.

3

Medicare-enrolled

Your child is enrolled in Medicare. We confirm all of this for you before any treatment.

Not eligible? Many families still choose Pearly for the convenience. We offer transparent private fees and will always give you a clear quote before treatment. Eligibility figures and rules shown are a guide. Services Australia confirms entitlement.
